Lovely week of figure drawing workshops at St Patrick's Primary School, Newport, in partnership with Ballet Cymru's Duets Programme. Children (reception to Year 6) worked from life, making drawings first of Duets dancers and then of each other, with poses drawn from classical ballet and their own creativity.
Very impressed by the children's enthusiasm and focus in both the art and the dance workshops. Here's a selection of their beautifully observed pictures - charcoal and pastel on paper.
